The Shadows Studio was born out of a passion for creating high-quality giant candles that infuse homes with beautiful scents. What started as a small business has grown into a beloved brand that customers trust and love.

For us, candle passion means seeing how far we can push the envelope with the giant candles to make them the biggest and baddest candles anywhere! Shadows Studio was established in the "Mile-High" city of Denver Colorado, in 1994, at the base of the majestic Rocky Mountains, an area rich in diversity, personality and lifestyles. There's something mystical and romantic about flickering candlelight that is unmatched by light from any other source. Add fragrance to that mystique and you evoke memories and awaken the senses!  Right away we started listening to our customers and found out they have the same fascination!  We have taken that to heart and strive to give you what you desire for your own personalized candle!  Any candle on our site can be used in lanterns. outdoors. Floor candles have become the latest rage in the world of design.

Shadows gets around the world and we love it! Shadows has been to the Paris international buyers show, we have a set of giant candles in the main lobby of an up-scale hotel in Dubai, our candles are in unique boutiques in Monaco and featured in specialty stores around Paris. Also, we were very excited to be in the Cannes Film Festival in 2002. In 2008 we sent (31) 12"x54" inch tall candles to an exclusive estate in California to be placed around the outside of this magnificent home.  We've added giant candle sets to the American Embassy in Sweden. In the Caribbean hotels have ordered giant candles to add beauty to the atmosphere at their resorts.

We've found the "Old European World Style" method of hand pouring our candles makes the most unique and rustic custom candles around!
